You’re

Today we analyzed the poem  You’re by Silvia Plath. From my perspective I figured she was speaking to her child. I imagined her catering to her child holding them close and pouring out her heart to them. The poem wasn’t hard to analyze because it was filled with metaphors and similes. So basically we had to find the function of those particular literary devices.
