Fences

Today in class, we began to read the play Fences by August Wilson. Fences is a play that my peers and I  relate to because we all have been exposed to the urban lifestyle and language is exposed by the characters. So far, we have been introduced to Troy, Bono, Rose, Gabriel, and Lyons. Through their dialogue I am able to contrast their personalities which gives me their perspective on life. I am fond of this play because of its humor and relativity, it keeps me intrigued.
