Today in class, we discussed the rubric for the essays on the AP Literature exam. Apparently they changed the grading scale from 1-9 to 1-6, which is easier but still challenging for us. To get the full 6 points we have to have a well written thesis statement with a defensive argument and great body paragraphs that are cohesive with strong evidence and commentary. After reviewing the rubric, we continued to read Macbeth but we stopped at the interesting part when Macbeth and his wife plan King Duncan’s murder. So far the play has been good and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
