A Lesson Before Dying Chapter 6 Reflection

Grant is finally able to see if he is approved to visit Jefferson. The sheriff made sure to display that he was in control by making Grant wait 2 1/2 hours to speak to him. He asked him various questions, and every time Grant answered he showed his intelligence. The others who watched seemed to want Grant  to mess up and say the wrong thing. However, the sheriff granted him access to visit but with limitations. The sheriff also made it clear that he did not agree with it.
