A Lesson Before Dying Reflection Chapter 7

Grant and his class is looking forward to the superintendent coming to visit. Every day of the week Grant has one of his students on the look out for him. When the superintendent finally does show up, he inspects the children hands and teeth. He asks them questions and tells them to recite things to him. After all is done, he is well pleased with the results. But Grant annoys him with the complaints of what he needs to teach. Dr. Joseph tells Grant to put the kids to work.
